Uber driver in Los Angeles stabbed couple over vomit in car's back seat, new lawsuit says

A Los Angeles couple filed a lawsuit against Uber Technologies Inc., after they claim a driver for the company of stabbed them during a ride-share service in 2022. Lilit Hakobyan and Khachatur Aspoyan, who filed the lawsuit, said they had ordered a ride on Sept. 25, 2022, and, once inside the vehicle, Hakobyan grew nauseous and vomitted. The driver then grew irate, refused to take them to their destination, and stabbed them both multiple times, the married couple claimed. The couple alleges assault and battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, negligence and negligent hiring, retention, supervision and training. They are seeking unspecified compensatory and punitive damages, according to City News Service. Albuquerque, New Mexico: Police-involved shooting leaves 1 dead

A police officer-involved shooting at a residence in Albuquerque, New Mexico Friday night left one person dead, authorities said. The Albuquerque Police Department is continuing to investigate the fatal shooting, which resulted in three officers being placed on administrative leave. No officers were harmed. According to KOB 4, the officers responded to a domestic dispute between a father and his son, who was reportedly holding knives at the time of the shooting.  APD said officers fatally shot the son after they attempted "less lethal methods." The age of the deceased is not known at this time. Idaho murders: Detectives, FBI return to crime scene where 4 university students were massacred in their sleep

FIRST ON FOX: MOSCOW, Idaho – Investigators returned to the Idaho home Friday where four college students were stabbed to death in their sleep earlier this month. Police and members of the FBI first looked outside and walked up the hill behind the home, which is built into a slope and stands three stories tall. Next they came back down and were seen putting on protective covers over their shoes and returning inside the home on King Road, which had been untouched for days.
