A Brandon, Florida, 7-Eleven employee was violently attacked by an armed man Thursday morning, and authorities hope by releasing the surveillance footage, they can catch the culprit. Detectives with the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office released a video of the incident which took place at about 4:41 a.m. at the 7-Eleven at 810 East Brandon Boulevard. The suspect, a Black male wearing red shorts, white sneakers and a multicolored Reebok short-sleeve hoodie with a black long-sleeve shirt underneath, is seen on video walking into the convenience store before walking over to a shelf and grabbing a product. Texas shopping center shooting leaves at least 2 dead, multiple injured

Two people were killed and at least three others were injured after a shooting at a Texas shopping center .  The Austin Police Department said officers responded to the Arboretum Shopping Center shortly after 5 p.m. after shots were fired. "APD resources are working to stabilize the scene," an APD social media post said.  FLORIDA POLICE RESPOND TO STABBING AT TAMPA-AREA HIGH SCHOOL Fox News Digital has reached out to authorities.  The Austin-Travis County EMS said two adults were pronounced dead at the scene and another adult was taken to a hospital with critical, life-threatening injuries. Florida woman in hospital gown arrested after allegedly stealing ambulance

A woman in Florida was arrested on Wednesday afternoon after allegedly stealing an ambulance from a local hospital. The Port St. Lucie Police Department said in a Facebook post that 25-year-old Marquisa Allen stole an unoccupied ambulance from the HCA Florida St. Lucie Hospital in Port St. Lucie, Florida, on Wednesday afternoon. Officials said Allen was sitting on a beach in her hospital gown when she decided to allegedly drive off with the ambulance while personnel were inside dropping off a patient. The ambulance is equipped with a GPS tracker, which allowed police to locate the alleged stolen vehicle and give the location to other law enforcement partners. A Texas UPS worker died this week after becoming ill amid an extreme heatwave , the company said.  Christopher Begley, 57, worked for the parcel delivery company for 28 years before he died Monday. Los Angeles police investigators Wednesday said an alleged speeding motorist who collided with an Uber vehicle over the weekend, killing two sisters and their friend inside, is a gang member with an extensive criminal history and was on probation related to a murder case.  Gregory Black, 31, is charged with three counts of gross vehicular manslaughter for the deaths of Juvelyn Arroyo and Veronica Amezola, both 23, and 27-year-old Kimberly Izquierdo. Amezola and Izquierdo were sisters, and Arroyo was a friend. The Los Angeles Police Department said Black was speeding in a white Mercedes-Benz on early Saturday morning, and ran multiple red lights before he T-boned the Uber at the intersection of Century Boulevard and Vermont Avenue. A man accused of kidnapping an Oregon woman and locking her in a makeshift cell made of cinder blocks was allegedly caught attempting to break out of his cell at the Jackson County Jail last week. DeSantis declares state of emergency for much of Florida as possible tropical storm forms in Gulf of Mexico

GOP presidential candidate and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis declared a state of emergency Saturday for much of his state, as a possible tropical storm brews in the Gulf of Mexico.  DeSantis issued an executive order with the emergency declaration for 33 counties in preparation for the storm currently known as Invest 93L, which is expected to strengthen into a tropical storm in the coming days.  The governor and the Florida Division of Emergency Management "are taking timely precautions to ensure Florida’s communities, infrastructure and resources are prepared, including those communities that are still recovering following Hurricane Ian," the governor's office said.  "I signed an Executive Order issuing a state of emergency out of an abundance of caution to ensure that the Florida Division of Emergency Management can begin staging resources and Floridians have plenty of time to prepare their families for a storm next week," DeSantis said in a statement.
